Was owned and operated by Harry Epstein.  Later moved to Providence Avenue between 16th & 17th Streets.  Next to Mason's Candy store on one side and Acme Markets on the other side. This cleaners later became Geiger Cleaners."

  Irv Lawrence Cleaners 1500 block Providence Ave. Irv Lawrence   "I work in the cleaners on Providence Road, about the 1500 block. Its name was Geiger Cleaners, then after years it became Irv Lawrence Cleaners, Irv was a magistrate in the City of Chester."

  Nixon Dry Cleaners 942 W 9th St. Sarkis Kuyunjian ? - 1952 - ?  
  Troy Laundry 5th & Yarnall St.     "My mother, [Louise Williams Wood],  was the secretary to the [CHS] principal from 1928 to 1936 , when she had to resign because the school district had a rule about working spouses. She then went to work for Troy laundry and their bookkeeper. I assume she worked for Troy laundry from 1936 until at least 1939. I know she said she had to implement Social Security into their payroll system."

  ? Laundromat Middle of the block of 12th & Rose St.   ? - 1960's - early 1970's - ? "I can remember a laundry mat that was directly in the middle of the block of 12th & Rose St. This was during the 60’s early 70’s. Don’t recall any name, but I was at the beginning of an alley way that went back behind some houses that faced 12th st."
