 Mid 1940's or earlier until late 1950's "I am fairly certain that Automatic Coin Vending was derived from a company called Automatic Vending Corp. This company was located on Parker St. between 5th and 6th Streets, just south of the railroad tracks on the east side of the street. Automatic Vending was at this location from the mid 1940's, maybe earlier (my brother and I agree on this) until the late 1950's. This company was owned by a group of partners The partners I recall were Maurice Lenny (my uncle again), Anna Lenny (my aunt, Maurice's sister), two other men, Phil Frank and David Berliner. There may have been other partners, but I am not certain. I worked for this company during the summers in the 1950's. In the late 1950's the building was destroyed by a fire and the company moved to the 9th St. location. A year or so after the move, the company was sold and the name was changed to Automatic Coin Vending."
