the area for about 20 years. Ridley Baptist was formed in 1874 by a group from Ridleyville
(an area located about Route 420 and Rt.13 (Chester Pike) in what is now known as Prospect
Park. In 1830 the group started the Ridleyville Church, and some of the group
started the Ridley Baptist while another portion of the group returned to what was called Prospect Hill Baptist in the
1890's." |
