Entering Chester Rural Cemetery from the Edgmont Avenue entrance, the most prominent sight is the Bickley Mausoleum constructed c. 1912 on the site of a former flower bed.

The family patriarch, Mortimer H. Bickley, was a prominent Chester pharmacist.
