Victor Nicholas Moretti, Jr.


 

 

 

Longtime Aston, Delaware County resident Victor Nicholas Moretti, Jr. passed away on October 27, 2006 in Silver Spring, Maryland after a short battle with cancer. He was 76 years young. 

A devoted husband and father, he is survived by: his wife of three years Martha Flory of Maryland, son Victor of Pennsylvania, daughter Anna Moretti Damiano of Maryland, four grandchildren (Victor, Laura, Nicholas and David) and brother John Moretti of Delaware.

He was predeceased by wife of 48 years, Florence Stokarski Moretti and an infant son. 

Mr. Moretti retired from Widener University in 1998 after 21 years with Campus Safety on both the Pennsylvania and Delaware campuses. He was also a part-time police officer with Aston Township for 31 years. 

Born in Chester to Victor and Josephine Moretti, he was a graduate of St. James High School in Chester, Class of 1948. He was an Army veteran serving with the 101st Airborne during the Korean War. 

A Mass will be held on November 17 at The Church of St. Joseph, Aston, PA, beginning at 10 a.m. Visitation at the church at 9 a.m.
