MessageI am sad to report that Evelyn Phillips passed away in approximately 2001. Someone else here was trying to locate her, as was I, so I thought I would post this. I decided to look for her on the Social Security website for deceased folks. Yes, I saw her name. She married someone I didn't know and lived in northern PA, if my memory is correct. I also can't remember how I knew it was her because of course, her married name appeared. I did some further investigation and determined that it was our Evie. I would loved to have seen and laughed with her one more time.

I am positive you are referring to Shirley Busby (now Shirley Frank) as Evelyn's cousin who is trying to find her. I too, have wondered about Evelyn and where and how she is. I looked for her at our 33 reunion. I did hear at that time that she married, had 5 children and perhaps was living in Delaware. Evelyn was so very beautiful (truly - because she was "Lotus Queen" at one of our proms). She was so down-to-earth and possessed a great sense of humor - she and I could always find humor in anything and giggled all the time = like teenagers. Of all the people in my life, Evelyn is one that I would be thrilled to talk to again. She may have married Bob Tunstall (nobody seems to know where he is either) and through the internet and telephone books, perhaps we can look for Evelyn Tunstall.
