Messagehi everyone. Still living in upland after all these years the same house even imagine that. I always hung in upland every night. Terrie Smith was my best friend for like forever. We both went to Charity but basically knew everyone from upland. We went to every friday night dance at the baptist church and had a great time. I remember the carnival at the ball park i think we only had one though and the fireworks which i was sad to see it end. My first love was John Brooks he lived on 7th street that is where i hung out at most of the time. I used to really like John Colburn alot many years ago also. MessageMy brother Harold Stern gradated from Chester High in 1957 (I was 9 years old at the time and remember the graduation ceremony!). Hal nmoved to California and became a commercial real estate broker. I myself attended Larkin School back in 1955-59; my father worked as a meatcutter at a grocery store at Third and Flower. I lived next to the Swimmer Wolf building near the old Scott Paper plant, then in an apt. building at 8th and Edgement across from DeShong Park. Strangely enough, after so many years I consider Chester my real home.
I'd like to hear from anyone who might have gone to Larkin School during my years there (some of my teachers were Miss Webb, Miss Doherty, Mrs. Beardsley, Miss Steward. The PE teacher, Joe Volzone, sometimes paddled me for mischief-making).

The storm hit & most got sick. The main problem was with poor conditions in food, a stench on the fourth deck and food being not done enough and/or only luke warm. Bermuda was beautiful!

Hi Guys! I didn't graduate from Chester High. I left Smedley in the ninth grade. I do remember Patricia poole, she used to walk home from school with Carmella La Spada and I. I do believe carmella and Pat were friends and didn't live too far from each other. Regina Danos as I remember was a Cheerleader and her father owned Danos' restauarant on fith street I think. She used to come in sometimes when I was there. I remember Bobby Carpenter also, He and went to work For the Boeing Co. I retired fours ago as a Quality

I'm anxious to see who shows up at the 45th reunion. Sadly, I know someone who won't be there. My good friend from the 4th grade at Lincoln School through high school and beyond, Richard MacNeilly, died of asbestosis-related heart failure during the first week of January this year. Apparently, he had inhaled asbestos dust while serving on an aircraft carrier that was undergoing renovation while in the navy. I'll miss him.
