MessageAs Chairperson of this year and the previous two reunions, it's amazing after reading the messages, how so many of us thrive to stay connected which is good. It also is astonishing that when the 1960 CHS Committee tries to plan a reunion for our class that we fail to respond or make an effort to notify Barbara (greenstein)Walls/Co-Chairperson or myself that you have moved for proper notification mailing. At most, it becomes frustrating that we have to still beg people of our age (from those we receive an attending confirmation and partial payment) to send in the cost due. A reunion is not so much that we come together as a class but that we have yet been blessed to be allowed to see one another which is a joyful celebration when you consider those who cannot. However, those who plan to attend, we hope to have an enjoyable evening. To classmates who cannot attend, may God continue to keep you and yours in His loving care.

MessageHi All. I was going to try and attend this year's reunion. Dolly Mignogna told me how very nice the last one was. However, 5 months ago I had a severe stroke. Now I cannot use too much on my right side. The therapists that take care of me are trying to teach me to walk again. I hope so. I had 4 children (1 deceased 10 years ago). We do have 9 grandchildren, and one greatchild due in March. I retired last June and loved it(until June). I closed the old shipyard. There was 1 man and myself. Greetings Classmates: 45 is a staggering number when you add it to our age at graduation. I attended the 30th reunion, but unfortunately did not hear about the interim ones. My husband found this website and it was great to read about the 1960 class. I have lived in the area since high school graduation, first in Swarthmore and now in Wallingford. After graduating from Moore College of Art, I taught at Nether Providence High School, which became Strath Haven High. After 32 years, I retired in 1997 and then traveled and took classes at Longwood Gardens for 2 more years. I was then asked to start an art program at St. John Chrysostom School in Wallingford. This part-time position ahs offered me a most enjoyable opportunity of working with young children. My husband still works, but we manage to take a few international and domestic trips a year. I am sure we have been to some of the places my former classmates have indicated they now live. I am looking forward to the reunion and seeing many high school friends. I am retired and living in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with my husband. We have two children, a daughter in the Reading, Pa. area and a son in San Diego, Ca. We enjoy it here, go boating, fishing, crabbing and clamming in the summer, take trips to FL and Myrtle Beach, SC in the winter.

I moved from Chester in 1969 to New Jersey and then moved to Florida in 1973 where I have been ever since then.
