What's up once again, I'm preparing for another trip to Iraq, either November or December. I just went over 20 years in the military, once I return it's time to retire. The class of 1983 is a special class, we were the first to bring home a State championship in basketball and produce alot of good Americans. Hello everyone,
I just finished painting my exercise room orange and black. I call the C-pride 83 room, of course. I plan on filling it with CHS momentos. Other than that, I'm still in the Navy and have a successful career (I've already attained the highest enlisted rank E-9/Master Chief). Although I live in NC, I'm actually stationed in Norfolk, Va. Tina Showell's nephew is on my ship. Yesterday (7 NOV 04), Kenny Imani (formerly Rhodes c/o 80) and Ellen (formerly Womach c/o 82) was at my house for dinner and the Eagles game. A few weeks ago I was at a meeting and saw Rhonnette Potts c/o 85 or 86. I've been to Vic Dorsey's (c/o 83) house in Hawaii, which he is now in Cairo, Egypt. I caught up with Steve Pollock (c/o 83) in Maryland, let's wish him the best in politics. I travel a lot so hit me back, I love seeing people from Chester when I am on the road or out to sea. If you are ever in the VA Beach area drop me a line. I also spend a lot of time in DC. PEACE

Happy New Year Fellow CHS Alumni & Congratulations on a successful 20th year reunion! I heard it was fabulous.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you and yours good health, happiness and prosperity!
I am not a member of your graduating class. However, I do have some information that I would like to share with you.
It is my understanding that C/O '81 was the last class to conduct the Ms. Chester Pageant. Well it's back! CHOICES, Inc. (Coalition of Hope Offering Inner City Empowerment Services), where I serve as Treasurer, is a non-profit organization located in Chester, whose primary objective is to empower inner-city youth by providing traditional and non-traditional learning activities, enrichment, after school and entrepreneur programs through workshops, seminars, training, field trips and the classroom.
On May 1, 2004, CHOICES, Inc. will be holding the Ms. Chester, Princess, Jr. Teen and Teen Pageant in Chester, PA at Alumni Hall, Widener University. The pageant is designed to showcase young ladies of the community who possess a combination of poise, personality, intelligence and talent. As you know, this pageant has not been held in the city in over twenty years and CHS c/o '81 winner, Beverly Burton, has been invited to crown the next Ms. Chester! We are also trying to reach Sharon Whitaker, who I was told shared the '81 crown. Any assistance you can offer with locating Sharon would be appreciated.
Contestants are competing for trophies, cash prizes and the opportunity to represent the city of Chester at various regional events.
We are currently looking for young women ages 6-18 to participate. In addition, on behalf of CHOICES, Inc., I am respectfully requesting your support by spreading the word about the Ms. Chester Pageant Event, In addition, we are looking for members to join, volunteers to conduct workshops, direct programs, grantwriters and SPONSORS!! Fundraising events are being held and we are asking for your support. If you hear of any CHOICES, Inc. events, please come out to support us so that we can continue to provide empowerment services for our youth.
Many successful women have launched their careers through pageantry! It helps to build self-esteem, confidence, poise, social ettiquette and community awareness.

MY BAD. Apologies to the Reunion Committee. I had received my ticket in the mail about 10 days ago and inadvertently threw it away. In these busy days and times in which we find ourselves, I sort my mail in 3 piles; bills, checks, and junk. The ticket I received was placed in the junk pile because to me, it looked like a post card sized white paper with black ink. I was looking for something much smaller with the word(s) "ticket" on it. It has been Twenty Years since we began our journey into adulthood. The years we spent at Chester High School has shaped many of our lives towards our desired professions as well as building character.
To celebrate the twenty years, we the Reunion Committee have worked hard to present a "20th Reunion Weekend Extravaganza". The reunion ball will take place on Friday, November 28, 2003 at The Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing.

Good Morning class of 1983, I have those "HOT VALENTINE DAY" tickets on sale. Yes the class of 1983 will be hosting a Valentine Day Caberet on Saturday, February 15,2003 at the B.P. Union Hall in Linwood Pa starting at 9:oopm-2:00am cost is $15 per person. I truly look forward to seeing everyone there partying with there sweethearts, if you don't have a sweetheart come out anyway and party the partying class of 1983. Contact me or any

WHAT'S UP CLASS OF '83????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope this note finds everyone in good health & spirits. Well the plans are under way for our 20TH class reunion. We have had several fundraisers that have been very successful. If there is anyone who has any suggestions for fundraisers or would like to help with the planning of our reunion please feel free to drop me line at my email address or contact any committee person. The committee consists of Tyrone Friend, Kenny Garrett, Garry Barkesdale, Al Watson, Bernetta Wright, Alicia Stewart, Vanessa (Williams) & myself. If I left anyone off please forgive me. We will be obtaining a P.O. Box # so that you can send us your current address or email that info to me. If there is someone from our class that you know without a computer or who is not aware of this website please pass this info on to them. I will be looking forward to hearing from our classmates. I know that some of us would like to have our reunion on a cruise but plans are already under way. I would like purpose that we sponser a cruise as a trip for those of us who would like to get together before our 25th reunion. Hopefully we will have some info on that at our 20th. HELLO CLASS OF 1983!!! YES THIS IS VANESSA ALIAS "WILLIAMS/NICKERSON". WE HAVE BEEN HAVING A BALL PREPARING FOR THE CLASS REUNION, I HAVE NOT BEEN DOING MY PART LIKE A SHOULD AND FOR THAT I APOLOGIZE. HOWEVER I AM TRULY SUPPORTING THE CLASS WHENEVER I CAN. ITS
UNBELIVABLE THE SAME FRIENDS I HAD IN HIGH SCHOOL WE STILL HAVE REMAINED FRIENDS AND GETTING READY FOR THE REUNION OUR FRIENDSHIP HAS GROWN EVEN STRONGER. I hope this letter finds everyone in good health. Well as you know we have already started planning our reunion. We have had several fundraisers with more to come. We do not want to leave anyone out who would like to participate with the fundraisers or the planning of our reunion. 1983 20th Class Reunion
It's feels good knowing that it's coming up to our 20th Class Reunion
I would to take a little bet of your time to explain. That we as the class of 1983 need to come together on getting our 20th reunion together as I been reading that we are trying to have two reunion going on. Mrs Darlene we have alreay start planing our 20th
reunion. So will you please contact some of the your offers of the class. So we would not have to have two things going on for our
reunion. The cruise sound nice but we have already been having fun raiser in the city and everyone that know's about them has been coming and working together so that it would be
successful. So lets work together and pull this reunion off here at home and plane on working on a cruise for the 25th reunion. So if anyone needs to Know more about the planes of the reuion please read MS.Bernetta J.WRIGHT e-mail below and see the
place, and date of our 20th Class Reuion. So let's stop passing rumors around and come together as one on this reunion
celebrateion. The men of our class have been planing a wondful elegant evening for our's ladys of our class and
