Sharon Gordon currently styles my two oldest daughters hair. Jusy this past week I saw Francine Hathshorn (I think that's right) at the YMCA getting her workout on. She still looks great. I just want to give a Big UP's to the Class of 1992 Alumni (Damn that sound good!) for showing and Representing us by coming together like we should. I know it was a last minute thing, but we all came out like champs. I can honestly say that I have never been so proud of our unity together on friday night. I had a ball, you had ball, they had a ball, EVERYBODY HAD A BALL! The DJ kept us hype and lived that moment to the fullest. I regards to the 15 year reunion past Friday, it was an awesome event and a most joyful gathering of fellow classmates. Thanks to all who were responsible for putting the function together. I think it is fitting to say that everyone is blessed and looking well but it is also fitting to say that although many have remained the same in their character, there are some who have changed. I say that to say, it is important that not only do we respect each other as individuals but also be diverse and receptive of another persons beliefs, cultures, religion, or lifestyles. We are no longer the 17 and 18 year olds frolicking about in the hallways. However we are the 30 something men, women, husbands, wives, moms, and dads and in an sincere effort to make the best possible role model for our children we need to be open and respectful to all walks of life. In the past few months 2 of our fellow classmates have accepted boarding passes and joined the Clipper Ship to heaven and we are still blessed to be here. All of us were not the best of "friends" in school but I think its suffice to say that none of us we enemies either. We all have jobs, careers, and places of worship and the same respect that we give our co-workers, church members, etc is the same respect we "should" have for each other. Let me clear by saying that this is not based on any incident that happened but only by the demeanor of few that have grown in age but not in maturity. If I've made any incorrect assumptions or have offended anyone, then please charge it to my head and not my heart God is still working on me. None of us are perfect! Remember that change comes from within. Pray that God keeps us so that we can meet on this earth just one more time. If you know of a fellow classmate in need, don't talk about them instead pray for them and then do something to help. After all isn't that part of what C-Pride is about? Luv U's All and Be Blessed!

Listen 92" I hate to offend but while some of our people (African Americans, or Blacks...whichever you prefer) are still sitting back playing lil' insecure boy & girl elementary to high school games such as light skin vs dark skin, good vs bad hair, or stereo-typical roles such as "Pimps, dealers, & ho's", or even "uppity' negro vs lower class negro", racism is alive and kickin'. Greetings 92" I have not visited this site for a while. However, I try to send positive messages from time to time. So let me start by saying congratulations George on the new addition...babies are truly a blessing. I have a 7 year old beautiful prince, named ZION. I was sorrowed by Syreeta's death but I don't believe that it was in vain. She shared enough with us all in such a special way that shall last a lifetime. I did attend her memorial and sent a dedication to ghettoprint.com on behalf of c/o92". I have enjoyed hearing all of the wonderful moments that some of you have shared...& yes, she was more than a hairdresser. She was a positive & unique ray of light in which you do not encounter every day. I was not a personal friend of Syreeta's and nor was I to many other of our classmates. Nevertheless, her spirit has left a lasting impression upon my life as well as many others. This truth was prevalent at her memorial service. I was very moved. So everything God allowed me to witness that on day I shall carry with me from now on. Meanwhile, I am also saddened to hear about the loss of Sterling Green. I shall keep his family & friends in prayer. Nicole is right...you just never know when the time will come to leave this earth. So what's the lesson here??? I am not sure if everyoen is aware of the problem going on in Jena, LA with the 6 young black guys of which one is facing 22 years in prison for a school yard fight. All 6 boys are under the age of 18 and please take time to log onto the web and look up the story of the "Jena 6." Understand that in 2007 this is a case of segragation in the worst form. As we all know racism has never died but if the judge and prosecutors are allowed to punish a now 17 year old child, that it will allow the crack in civil rights laws,to become bigger. Most of us have children and I know we do not want them to experience what most of us never have! Pray for those boys and their families, it could easily be one of our children or even us.

Peace & Blessings:) I'm updating my info, and trying to contact every individual from C/O 92. I know many people were not satisfied with our last reunion. Believe it or not our President (Ramona Walls) felt very bad about it. I know for a fact that she did the best that she could with the limited support that she had. She just couldn't seem to find many classmates to get their input. So I am taking the initiative to contact as many people as I can. I'm also going to help her form a new committee, and gather the input of those individuals who are interested. So C/O 92 let us please put the past behind us, and work together in a positive manner to have some enjoyable fundraisers, and to make the next reunion even better:) There's no need to complain about what's already happened. We are open to suggestions, and even constructive criticism. Nevertheless, keep in mind that we are all adults. It's not what you say, but how you communicate it (ideas or opinions), that makes the difference.
