Dewey-Mann Class of 1963 & on to Pulaski - I admired my 1st grade teacher Ms. Rodgers, because she was so young and beautiful to my then 6 year old eyes. Ms. Rodgers is now living at the Bishop Nursing Home, and I've been told that her beauty still shines through. Anyone in Ms. Mustang's 2nd grade class? Anyone remember her? She had a sister who also taught 2nd grade. I remember stamp day, and the bank that was on 3rd & Yarnell Sts. that we walked over to for deposits. My cousin told me that she actually graduated 12th grade from Dewey-Mann School, it was the only school she attended. I was surprised, thought everyone left Dewey-Mann, went on to Jr. High, and graduated from some High School.

Attended Dewey Mann in 58-59 for my 7th grade education before moving on to Pulaski the next year. My memories of that year are great and very vivid. Walking to gym class at Memorial Park. Going to Buddies for Subs. My favorite place was called Jacks across from the Strand movie theater. There was a real den of enicquity with real Damon Runyan people. Talk later, Kirk

I may have attended Dewey Mann School from 1958-61, I can't quite remember. I do remember my favorite 6th grade teacher, Mr. George Carter because he was the best and he made us do multiplication tables every night. And I remember you Wanda Mann. Hello!
