Hey George! Stuart huh? Been to Bathtub Beach yet? It's pretty cool. We ride down there sometimes. Hope all is well with you. How long are you going to be in Stuart? I work in Ft Pierce. Looking for all the "New School" REZ Graduates. I attended REZ from 1980 - 1988. My favorite teacher of all times was Miss Susan Macik (4th Grade) later Mrs Susan Lowe (8th Grade). Anyone remember Sister Kathleen..the principal, or Sister Veronica with the green star pad or catch, handball, and football in the parking lot? Anyway looking forward to the 2005 reunion. Eileene Mylett became a nun I haven't heard from her in years. Theresa Mann married and moved to Colorado Springs, CO and had two daughters. Here husband owned one of the best auto shops in town. Theresa brother Joe still lives in Deleware County and her other brother Tony lives in Ohio.

I just heard of this site from Dave Cucchi. Although I did not attend REZ, my two brothers did, (Frankie & Tommy). They both made many friends there and in the West End Of Chester. Unfortunately Frank is no longer with us, it is nice to know he is thought of by many. I Thank You Kathy G. (ha.. ha..) for being such a great friend for all these years. George,
I have been extremely busy with the job change and finishing up school. I have two classes left to finish my degree at Neumann. Billy April asked how I managed to get through it without getting any demerits or suspensions. I told him that if I knew then what I know now, I would have have payed better attention instead of clowning around. All joking aside he knows that was BS, I wouldn't have changed anything. Joe O'Donnell thanks for the push. The experience at Neumann has been great. Anyone else out there from Rez who aspires to go back and finish their degree, my suggestion is "Go for it!" It's never to late.

You wouldn't happen to be the older influence who put those thoughts in Chris's head. If my memory serves me right when I used to stay over at my Aunt & Uncle's house, you were one of the elders in that Nolan Street gang. Plenty of great memories from back then. Your mom, dad, brothers and yourself all great people Joe. Your brother Greg and Pete Szupa two of the best. When we used to thumb home from STJ, it would be about 40 below and those two would be staying warm in that phone booth on 22nd street. They would both say who wants Q to thumb and they both would raise their hands and I would be left out there thumbing freezing my ass off. Greg and I were picked up by this old guy one time who had these playboy magazines in his glove compartment. He must of been about 75, and your brother and I were riding him about that he probably was still hooking up with a lot of women. He proceeded to say those days were over with, and he pulled the car over and he wipped that shriveled up artifact out of his pants. Greg said "Do you believe this old "blank blank." Pop's you better be putting that shit back in your pants." True story Joe. Just thinking about Greg busting on that old guy makes me laugh.

As we well know you weren’t exactly the poster boy for good behavior. I remember you getting smacked around a few times yourself. If I recall you occupied the seats up front with Beaver so Sr. Dorothy could keep the both of you from fooling around. If they had DNA testing back then, they would have determined it was your spit in her chalk cup. Fortunately for you DNA testing wasn’t permissible back then. Or how about the time Sr. Angela called on you for answers from the homework assignment and she complemented you for doing a great job. What threw her into one of her famous rages was when you handed in a blank paper and I think you said something like, “I was reading my answers from memory of my homework paper that either got eaten by the dog or thrown out in the trash.” Q

you know it seems a long time ago when your mother let you out the front door all by yourself. Well growing up at 1007 Booth street I met a bunch of kids that left the best lifetime of memories. I met the Hess boys. Ron, Frank Brian and older brother billy. I met tommy and frank Supplee.Thier was frank carland kevin Pilkington. George Moyer. John Hample. God thier are so many more way to many to name. We would shine shoes. cut grass pack bags at penn fruit for money to go roller shkateing at spinning wheeles. I could go on all night. I ran into a Mr. Dave Degan, he said he left the seminary after teaching sex education to our 7th grade class that year (boy's only). He said he never recovered from that question you asked him. He also said he still didn't have an answer to your question. That still today is one of the funniest stories I remember about REZ. No doubt he went right to the chapel after that class and lit about 30 candles to save our souls. Keep in touch. Let me know when you plan to start your charter boat business.

Just wanted to post something I got thru the mail to the Rez Alumni. It's from Kathleen Wendel Kerwin of the Class of 1953. I know there are a lot of people out there who sign on possibly from that class or from her neighborhood, if you know her, she now lives in San Diego, CA and will be here after the reunion and would like to meet with old Rez friends. Also, the checks have been coming in, especially this past week, so thanks to those who did that. I hope you've received your tickets by now. I'm just sending out a few today, but if you send in later on next week, I won't send mail your tickets back to you, I'll mark up our pre-paid list and your tickets will be waiting for you at Tri-State Sports.
Everyone keep you fingers crossed and put your Blessed Mother statues in windows so we can have a beautiful day next Saturday. Sure hope this one will be as successful as last year. See you all on October 18th.

Can anyone tell me about the kids? Do we have to pay regular price for them and are they charging for babies? I guess I was a little late to get the details this year but I am planning to be at the reunion. I had not checked the site in awhile and thanks to my Mom forwarding an e-mail about the reunion from her class of '60 group. I just got off the phone with her to round up a head count on the family. 6 graduates of various years, 2 spouses, and 4 kids!!! Last year was like a family reunion with the West 10th, 11th, and 12th ST. crew! so I hope to see more of the family this year!

There will be a reunion meeting at Max's this Friday 10/3 at 7PM in the back room. It'll be a chance to go over some important things going on. Dave Kasarsky will be there to explain how the Rez Scholarship Fund will work. Plus, if anyone wanted to purchase their tickets before the price goes up, they will also be available. Anyone who's willing to volunteer at the reunion, please come also. We didn't mention before that it would be a good thing to bring your own lawn chair, there are only a few picnic tables available. Plus, this event is going to be outside. The price of indoors just wasn't in our budget. Since the weather will be a little cooler it seemed best to stay outside. We also would like donations of cupcakes or cakes, too! So, hope to see lots of people this Friday!

Thanks to those who stopped by Max's for their tickets on Saturday. Hope you like the design of the tickets. Since most people show up at Max's on Friday nights, I'll stop by this Friday. I'll make sure that whoever come to purchase their tickets will be directed to the right table this time. I apologize for those who didn't know where I was, it was Dave's fault for not letting the girl upfront know where. I'll also be at Max's this Sunday at 1PM. I'de like to give a Shoutout to Frank Emmi Jr. And Steve Bori. It was great seeing you two while visiting the fishing pier at Massey's. It has been years since I have seen Frank and Steve I met up with a couple times at the pier. Frank has his own bussiness doing ceramic tile floors, in the Lewes/Rehobeth area while Steve and family retired to the beach life. Just the few minutes we had spent together brought wide smiles and laughter about. Reunion Update, When- Saturday-Oct.18th 12Noon-5:00pm Where- Tri State Sports, Concord Rd., Aston What to bring- Any old pic's, Memories for sure. Also, You will have to bring Chairs,Coolers,.and Blankets if you wish. We will also be having Door Prizes so be sure to get your tickets when you arrive at the Greeting table. You will also receive a couple monogramed momento's. Again we will have Hotdogs and Juice available. The alumni committee is to meet this Sunday and hopefully we'll have something on both this site and the oldchesterpa site. The write-up will include time of the event and some additional information. To date, I've only heard from (4) people who plan on attending!!! Thanks to them, but we still need to hear from everyone else. It's pretty hard to plan an event when we have no idea how many will be coming. Well this morning was the first day of school for most kids how we hated this day.Over the weekend I ran into Bob Bliz at the beach and things are pulling together for the reunion. He said that not to many people have payed in advance like only 1-2 payments have come in. I am always late for everything as anyone who knows me can agree,very bad habit.I have not sent my families $$ Today I am sending it out. It was great having the opportunity to meet up with you in Ft. Lauderdale. Linda and I both had an excellent time. How ironic is it that I would pick a hotel that was four places down from where you lived. Although it has been a while since we have seen each other, you would think that it had only been a few weeks. Some of the stories we talked about I laughed for over a week after I got home. There is no doubt that the nuns who ran the insane asylum referred to as the Class of 71' spent their latter years in therapy or isolation.
Hopefully we can get a few of the people together when you arrive in town. As we get closer to the reunion I will make some phone calls. Glad to see that all is well, and don’t ever loose that sense of humor.

I was wondering if anyone knows any of Miller's (Eddie, Lois, Terri, John) that lived on Highland Ave, between 2nd & 3rd street. Eddie would have graduated around 70', Lois 71', Terri 73', John '76. I went to St. Hedwigs but always use to play baseball, football, etc. with them in the "alley". If anyone has any contact information it would be greatly appreciated.

The 2nd Rez Reunion is still on for October 18th at Tri-State Sports. As of yesterday, we've only gotten one response. I'm hearing that "everyone" is coming!!! Please let us know. It's very hard to prepare for an event when you have no idea what the count could be. It's still going to be outside since the weather won't be as hot as last year.
