My brother Cholly (McKeone) two year old niece Aryn has been stricken with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She is currently receiving chemo treatments at Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. I am the principal at Saint Katharine Drexel School in Chester and I am looking to contact Mr. Vince Donlevie class of 1973. We are the only Catholic school left in the city of Chester and we are in need of financial help. With the casinos coming in Chester can not afford to give up the only faith-based school left open. As freshman in 1955 we girls from all over Chester area were the very first to invade the third floor of St. James H.S. - Class of 1959. We remember the nuns and brothers trying to keep us apart by the staggered hours. The boys would run up and throw water balloons down the hallway and and the nuns would usher us into classrooms so fast as to not be a 'Near Occasion of Sin' while the boys motto was "Seek Those Things Which are Above" What a fun year that was! Such innocent times Gone Forever! Hello to all of you who were in that first year of 'raging puberty' with us. My sister married the guys who posted note further down in this long & fun scroll - HI DRR - I remember when you and Kath picked me up after school when I escaped from the nuns clutches early and your buddy Dominic Scutti and I had a crush on each other--then he broke my heart by becoming a priest!

Only went to St. James for one year. Too many demerits. Went on to Ridley for the remainder and graduated in 1964. Strange enough, my memories of St. James and the strict Brother etc. are still good ones at this point in my life. I would have liked to graduate from St. James but I must admit that I really liked Ridley more. Great football, lots of girls and some great teachers. Probably like many others I find myself wishing that I would have accomplished more in school and been more involved in activities.

Hey to all alumni from the Class of 1976. My brother, John, who played varsity tailback for 2 years and was on the varsity baseball for 2 years, passed away almost 5 years ago this month of a heart attack. His heart was weakened by juvenile diabetes which he had since he was 12. At his death, he left 3 wonderful kids under the age of 7. I wanted to let all of his friends, classmates, and those who knew him aware of a benefit golf tournament held since his death to help his wife, Lisa, and his three children (Chelsea, Tyler, and Jonathan). For those who are interested, the tournament will be held on June 7th at the Wild Oaks Country Club in Salem County, NJ. It's a shotgun start at 1PM and it promises to be as much fun as the last 4 we held. All proceeds go into the Ebling Children Trust fund for the children's education. It's only $85 per person and all the food and beverages you can drink. We have a putting contest with the winner getting a 27" TV. If you are interested, there will be more details to come.
