Horace Fulton

(A biographical sketch from a Chester Times or Delaware County Daily Times newspaper clipping, "Know Your Police" from the collection of John C. "Snakes" Boyle, contributed by his granddaughters, Jane Boyle & Patty Boyle.)

A policeman with a green thumb is Horace Fulton, who says his house is "plumb full of green growing things."

Fulton's been a policeman since Feb. 15, 1943, after working at Sun Ship.

During that time he served three years on the now-defunct vice squad and is now assigned to prowl-car duty.

Fulton, who is 51, is married to the former Lucy Swain. They have one son, Robert, 27, who lives at 2611 McCarey st., and is an Air Force veteran. The Fultons live at 1301 Highland av.

Born in Trainer, his family moved to Chester when he was five years old and he attended public schools here.
