Patrolman Clarence Todd, an active member of the Lloyd Athletic Club, has served five years as its president.

Born Nov. 20, 1908, in Chester, he has lived here all his life, attending public schools here and Pierce Business School in Philadelphia.

He's married to the former Rose Marie Kaczynski and they have two children, Mrs. Rosalie Downie of Chadds Ford, and Marilyn, 10, a fifth grade student at Immaculate Heart School.

Prior to joining the police force on Feb. 15, 1943, he worked at the American Viscose Corp., for 10 years as a machine operator.
