from "Joker" Jack Chambers, jokerjak908@yahoo.com

"In the 1950's a bar was on the NE corner of 7th and Welsh. A couple of doors down was the Welsh Resturant. At that period of time Sleeper's was either located over the Welsh Rest. or over the store between the bar and the Restaurant. I am fairly sure Sleepers was over the Welsh. The source I use as a reference says that in 1925 Sleepers' College was located on Welsh Street.  (Telephone Chester 183-J).  My information from another source says that at least from 1971-1989 it was located at 2800 Edgmont Ave, Parkside, Pa (Telephone 6-6342). I am still researching. Hopefully, I will have more info on this for you."

"The Sleeper's Business College, located in its own building at 625 Welsh St, Chester, was planned for educational purposes. The school offers secretarial and accounting courses to young men and women, and the curriculum of the public school is open to both young and old. The method of individual instruction is particularly adapted for the backward pupil."
