Text of Obituary: 

Milton J. Larison, 76, of Brookhaven, a retired office manager, died Dec. 28 at home.

Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Milton J. and Isabella Culbert Larison.

He graduated from Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Del.

Mr. Larison was a resident of Brookhaven for 35 years.

He retired in 1965 from Westinghouse as the office manager in the engineering department after 44 years of service.

He was a member of Our Lady of Charity Church and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

He was also a member of the Hanley Hose Fire Co. in Chester for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Dorothea H. Hinderhofer; a son, James J. Larison of Brookhaven; two daughters, Mary Christine Balon of Martins Corner, and Kathleen N. Beebe of Thornton; a brother, John F. Larison of Brookhaven, nine grandchildern and three great grandchildren.

He was also the father of Milton J. Larison Jr., who died in 1952 and Anne D. Saedlo, who died in 1987.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Charity Church.

Burial will be in Immaculate Heart Cemetery.

Calling hours will be at the Carr Funeral Home, 935 S. Providence Ave., (Rt. 320) Wallingford, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Contributions may be made to the above-named church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015, or to the CCMC Hospice, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Upland, PA 19013.
