Text of Obituary: Leroi E. "Skip" Marshall, 53, of Chester, a former Westinghouse machinist, died Jan. 15 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland.

Born in Chester, Mr. Marshall lived in the city all of his life. He had worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp. for six years. Earlier, he was employed by Boeing Helicopters.

A member of Woodlyn Baptist Church, Mr. Marshall also belonged to the Eddystone Fire Company, Moyamensing Hook and Ladder Company and the Third District Fire Police.

The son of the late Leroi and Agnes Dewees Marshall, he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marlene Schuelie Marshall; two sons, Robert E. Marshall and Michael J. Marshall, both of Chester; a brother, Hubert J. Marshall of Boothwyn; and one granddaughter.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where there will be calling hours from noon until the service. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Lower Chichester.

Memorial gifts may be sent to the Woodlyn Baptist Church Building Fund, MacDade Boulevard and School Lane, Woodlyn, Pa. 19094.
